SUMMARY:Capacity building workshop for journalists on just energy transition in Senegal
DESCRIPTION:An important capacity-building workshop for journalists on the just energy transition will be held on July 3\, 2025\, at the House of the Press in Dakar. \nForty journalists from Dakar and the regions are invited to this event\, which aims to make media professionals essential players in a fair energy transition. This activity is part of the Capacity Building Project for Non-State Actors (RECANE) for a just energy transition in Senegal. \nThe workshop is organized in partnership with the House of the Press\, the Center for Studies of Information Sciences and Techniques (CESTI)\, and Action for Climate Justice (ACF – a key partner of CRADESC in the RECANE project).

SUMMARY:Founding General Assembly of the cooperative society of beekeeping actors from the communes of Diossong\, Sokone\, and Toubacouta
DESCRIPTION:The CRADESC continues its activities to support local organizations in the Saloum delta to strengthen their economic resilience\, in partnership with the Ford Foundation. To this end\, the Center will facilitate the holding of the Constitutive General Assembly of the cooperative society of beekeeping actors from the municipalities of Diossong\, Sokone\, and Toubacouta on July 3\, 2025\, in Toubacouta. \nThe objective is to establish a cooperative society. \nExpected at this meeting are honey GIEs and processors\, decentralized services\, development partners\, the representative of the International Labour Organization (ILO) in the delta\, as well as the Mayor of the municipality of Toubacouta.
