DESCRIPTION:A community forum on the challenges and prospects of the social appropriation of the Partnership for a Just Energy Transition (JETP) in Senegal’s Saloum Delta will be held on July 18\, 2025\, in the Fatick region. \nThe goal is to promote the social appropriation of the just energy transition process by local communities in the Saloum Delta through inclusive and participatory dialogue and to strengthen local actors’ participation in governance mechanisms of the energy transition. \nFollowing the Saint-Louis region\, this forum is the second of its kind focused on community inclusion. \nThe workshop is organized in partnership with the African Climate Foundation (ACF) as part of the capacity-building project for non-state actors to implement the JETP in Senegal.
