DESCRIPTION:Online translation – \nThe Kédougou region will host a community forum on December 23\, 2025\, organized as part of the project Strengthening the Capacities of Non-State Actors (RECANE) for the implementation of the Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) in Senegal. \nThis meeting aims to promote social ownership of the just energy transition process by local communities in southeastern Senegal\, encouraging dialogue\, information sharing\, and participation of the various stakeholders involved. \nThe forum will bring together representatives from local authorities\, mining companies and cooperatives\, gold panners\, farmers’ organizations and livestock associations\, women and youth from rural areas\, decentralized technical services\, as well as researchers\, students\, and regional institutions. \nThe RECANE project is implemented by CRADESC\, in partnership with the African Climate Foundation (ACF).
