DESCRIPTION:The national workshop for strengthening the capacities of local elected officials to take territorial issues into account within the framework of the Partnership for a Just Energy Transition (JETP) in Senegal will take place on May 28 and 29\, 2025\, at Azalai Hotel in Dakar starting at 8:00 AM. \nThe goal of this forum organized by CRADESC is to enhance the capacities of local elected officials for better consideration of territorial issues in the implementation of the JETP in Senegal. \nThe meeting will see the participation of representatives from the Ministry of Energy\, Oil and Mines\, the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Transition\, the Ministry of Agriculture\, local authorities\, the Association of Mayors of Senegal/AMS\, the Network of Local Elected Officials for Climate Justice\, civil society organizations\, SMEs\, economic operators\, academic and research institutions\, technical and financial partners\, and the media.
