Engaged in the strategy for a just energy transition, CRADESC co-organized with Womin a regional strategic meeting for Central and West Africa on the challenges and opportunities of a just energy transition during the climate crisis from May 13 to 15 in Saly, department of Mbour.
The central theme of this workshop was: “Understanding oil and gas and building a feminist regional strategy for Central and West Africa.” Participants exchanged ideas on the collective development of a strategy for a just energy transition.
CRADESC seeks synergy among civil society organizations to encourage governments to subsidize renewable energies and, above all, for extractive companies to respect their obligations related to hydrocarbon exploitation.
