The association of farmers from Niayes living with a disability, called AHAZONI, has established a monitoring committee for the creation of a cooperative society, composed of ten members, including five women.
This committee was formed following an informational meeting on the process of establishing a cooperative society, organized by CRADESC on March 19, 2025, in Mboro (Thiès region).
This activity of the Resilience and Food Security Program is part of the second phase of the Support Project for Farmers of Niayes (PAAN2) launched on October 22, 2024, in Thiès by CRADESC in partnership with the Ford Foundation.
